The house is a historically significant monument of Frisian village culture – opposite stands the more than thousand-year-old church of Wiarden, where people sought refuge when the sea came. Through mullioned windows, you can see the old bell tower. The enchanting, secluded garden invites contemplation, barbecues, and social gatherings. Inside, the old beams, vaulted ceilings, and original wooden floors create a special sense of comfort. "This house in the Ring, located on the corner of Loog, has a varied history, having formerly housed the post office, a haberdashery, a textile shop, and, since 1939, the Lübsen carpentry workshop" (Wiarden.
